Outlook Web Application – Webmail Solution

Multi-browser compatible webmail services (advanced features may only be available in Internet Explorer 8 or higher).

                          

  • Open your web browser to https://mail.yourdomain.com/owa (replace yourdomain in the provided URL with your actual domain name).

  • Choose one of the security choices depending on where you are accessing Outlook Web Application (either public or private).

  • Type your full email address and password in the provided fields.

  • Click Sign-in.


  • Note: The first time you log in to Outlook Web Application you will be presented with language and time zone choices. Make your selections as they apply to your requirements and click OK to continue.



    Exchange ActiveSync – Complete Mobile Device Synchronization

    Technology2Reality Hosted Exchange services provide constant connectivity for Google Android, Windows Phone, Apple iPhone and other Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync compatible mobile devices.

    In most cases, your device will only need the following basic information when adding an Exchange ActiveSync account to your mobile device:

    E-mail Address   user@yourdomainname.com
    Password:   yourpassword
    Exchange Server (if needed):   mailhost.t2rhost.com

    Note: Setup and configuration will vary depending on the device you are using.

    Due to the large number of devices in use today, and the varying methods to configure them, it is not possible for us to provide exact instructions for your specific device. However, the Microsoft ActiveSync mobile app provides a generally similar experience across all devices and is quite easy to setup in most cases. Please consult the instructions and documentation that came with your specific device for detailed information on setting up Exchange ActiveSync.


    Microsoft Outlook Client – Outlook Anywhere

    Method 1 – Using Auto-Discover


    Start by adding a new mail account to Outlook.

  • Open Outlook, click on the File Tab and click the Add Account Button.
  • Alternatively, you can add a new email account by opening Control Panel and then choose Mail.

  • Select the user profile (in most cases it is named “Outlook”) and click the properties button.
  • The Mail setup window appears. Click the “E-Mail Accounts…” button.
  • In the E-Mail Accounts screen, e-mail tab, click the “New…” button.


  • When the Add New Account screen appears, choose the E-Mail Account option and type the required information into the provided fields:

  • Full Name

  • E-mail Address

  • Password
  •  
                              

  • Click Next and the Add New Account wizard will attempt to connect to your Exchange e- mail server and automatically setup Outlook with your mail account settings.

  • If you receive a Security Alert pop-up window, click the View Certificate button, and then click the Install Certificate button to launch the Certificate Import Wizard. Complete the wizard by accepting all of the default settings to add your Exchange Mail server’s security certificate to your computer’s security certificate store.

  • Click Yes to accept the security certificate warning dialog box.

  • Once the Add New Account wizard completes click Finish.

  • Note: When you first open Outlook you may be prompted to enter your mail account password. To avoid being prompted frequently for your credentials you can select the checkbox to save the password.


    Method 2 – Manual Configuration and Setup


    Start by adding a new mail account to Outlook.

  • Open Outlook, click on the File Tab and click the Add Account Button.
  • Alternatively, you can add a new email account by opening Control Panel and then choose Mail.

  • Select the user profile (in most cases it is named “Outlook”) and click the properties button.
  • The Mail setup window appears. Click the “E-Mail Accounts…” button.
  • In the E-Mail Accounts screen, e-mail tab, click the “New…” button.


  • When the Add New Account screen appears, choose the Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types option and then click Next.
     
                              


    On the Choose Service screen, select the Microsoft Exchange or Compatible Service option and then click Next.
     
                              

  • Enter the required information on the Server Settings screen.

  • In the Server field, type the fully qualified name (FQDN) of your mail server.  For example: mail.yourdomainname.com, where “yourdomainname should be substituted for your company’s actual domain name.

  • In the User Name field, type the full e-mail address you have been provided. Click Next.

  • If you are prompted for a password, enter it now.  To avoid being prompted frequently for your credentials you can select the checkbox to save the password.
