¿Qué es WOWZAPP?

WOWZAPP es el primer hackathon de Windows 8 que se va a llevar a cabo de forma simultánea en todo el mundo.

Durante los días 9, 10 y 11 de noviembre, los participantes acudirán para crear a contrarreloj una app para Windows 8, la cual competirá contra otros equipos a nivel local.

Previo al hackathon los alumnos de la universidad recibirán formación sobre cómo programar apps para Windows 8 usando C#/XAML y contarán con mentores que les ayudarán durante el fin de semana.

Las mejores apps recibirán un premio y una vez cumpla con los requisitos de UX, rendimiento, seguridad y accesibilidad claves para publicar en la Windows Store, podrá ser publicada.

Part 1: MSDN TechTalk –Windows 8 Apps Overview
If you want to get up to speed with this important release, this overview session is for you. We will introduce you to Windows 8, explaining the peculiarities of the new development platform for applications and the coexistence with the current development technologies. At the same time you will learn how you can benefit from the biggest opportunity presented by the Windows Store. This session will be held in German.

Part 2: MSDN Hands-On-Lab – Learn all About Developing Windows 8 Apps
Then, after the break, if you want to learn more about developing Windows 8 apps, you will have the chance to build your first app on your own with the support of Microsoft employees, using the language and technology you prefer. You can choose between two versions of the same lab (manual only available in English): one based on HTML and JavaScript, the other one based on XAML and C#. The goal of the lab is to make you acquire the skills needed to write compelling and store-ready apps.

Hackathon là một sự kiện mà tại đó các lập trình viên, sinh viên gặp gỡ và thành lập các nhóm để phát triển một ứng dụng trong vòng tối đa 48 tiếng đồng hồ. Để làm được điều này, cuộc thi đòi hỏi ở các đội thi một nghị lực phi thường và sẵn sàng đạp lên mọi rào cản để đi đến đích cuối cùng của cuộc thi. Với hình thức đặc biệt, Hackathon không chỉ là nơi để các bạn thu thập thêm nhiều kiến thức mà còn có thể khám phá, thử thách các giới hạn của bản thân khi tạo ra một sản phẩm đột phá trong thời gian giới hạn, là bước đệm chuẩn bị cho các bạn kĩ năng quan trọng để sẵn sàng thành công trong môi trường CNTT hội nhập quốc tế ở nước ta giai đoạn hiện nay.

Giới thiệu về Wowzapp 2012: Worldwide Hackathon for Windows – Vietnam

WOWZAPP 2012 là cuộc thi lập trình nhanh trên Windows 8, cuộc thi này được tổ chức đồng loạt trên khắp thế giới trong khoảng thời gian từ ngày 9/11/2012 đến 11/11/2012 và Việt Nam cũng là một trong những nước tổ chức sự kiện này.

Hackathon tại Việt Nam sẽ diễn ra từ ngày 10/11/2012 đến 11/11/2012 với quy mô dự kiến là 1.000 thí sinh ở Hà Nội và Hồ Chí Minh. Về giải thưởng, sẽ có 10 giải/vùng và tổng trị giá giải thưởng lên tới 20.000USD.

Trước khi WOWZAPP 2012 diễn ra, Microsoft Việt Nam cũng tổ chức 2 contest nhỏ “Pre-Appathon” với giải thưởng rất hấp dẫn. Chi tiết mọi người xem tại https://www.facebook.com/events/385852721485619/

- Sau khi đăng kí, tiến hành gửi lệ phí thi vào tài khoản:

  •  Chủ tài khoản: (cập nhật sau)

  •  Nội dung chuyển tiền: “Tên người dự thi”- “Email người dự thi” nộp tiền dự thi WOWZAPP 2012

Lưu ý: Lệ phí dự thi là 100.000 VND/thí sinh.

Quy chế đội thi

  • Các thí sinh có thể tham gia đăng ký dự thi theo hình thức nhóm.
  • Một nhóm sẽ có từ 2 đến 4 thành viên
  • BTC khuyến khích các thí sinh đăng ký theo nhóm, hoặc tại thời điểm khai mạc cuộc thi, các thí sinh có thể đăng ký nhóm với BTC.
  • Các thí sinh sẽ không thể thay đổi đội thi kết thúc thời gian đăng ký cho phép.

Thể lệ cuộc thi WOWZAPP 2012

  1. Các đội thi chỉ được phép sử dụng nền tảng Windows 8 của Microsoft để phát triển các ứng dụng của mình.
  2.  Các đội thi có khoảng 30 giờ để hoàn thành sản phẩm của mình và nộp về BTC.
  3. Các thí sinh cần trang bị laptop đã cài đầy đủ các công cụ để thực hiện bài thi của mình.
  4. BTC sẽ trang bị 1 đường truyền wifi cho các thí sinh. Tuy nhiên, để tránh các trường hợp đáng tiếc, các thí sinh cần chủ động trang bị các thiết bị kết nối internet cá nhân (như USB 3G).
  5. Trong suốt quá trình cuộc thi diễn ra, các thi sinh không được phép rời khỏi khu vực dự thi. Các trường hợp còn lại đều phải có ý kiến của BTC.
  6. Việc các đội thi sử dụng các framework, thư viện hỗ trợ bên ngoài cần tuân thủ theo đúng các giấy phép và được ghi chú đầy đủ cho BTC.
  7. Đội thi có hành động sao chép hoặc gian lận sẽ lập tức bị loại khỏi cuộc thi.
  8. Quyết định của BTC là quyết định cuối cùng.

Thời gian và địa điểm diễn ra cuộc thi

  • Thời gian: Bắt đầu từ 08:00 sáng ngày 10/11/2012 đến 6:00 chiều ngày 11/11/2012
  •  Địa điểm:

            – Hà Nội: Microsoft Innovation Center, 18 Hoàng Quốc Việt – Cầu Giấy – Hà Nội

           - Hồ Chí Minh: SHTP Training Center, Lô E1 – Khu công nghệ cao – Xa lộ Hà Nội – Quận 9 – TPHCM

Các thông tin khác

  • BTC sẽ chuẩn bị các buổi ăn và nước uống cho các thí sinh trong suốt thời gian diễn ra cuộc thi.
  • Tất cả mọi quy chế, thể lệ và các mốc thời gian quan trọng sẽ được BTC phổ biến lại cho tất cả các thí sinh trước khi cuộc thi bắt đầu.
