Sosvia Inc., a company focused on intelligent Internet filtering, announces the launch of SAINT App, antipornography filter that blocks content from explicit websites. The software allows the whole family to surf the web with safety and peace of mind, as it filters pornographic content in real time.

SAINT App is an antipornography program that detects and blocks any sexually explicit content in order to protect and prevent children from being exposed to websites, photos or inappropriate videos. Unlike other content filtering software on the market that can be very intrusive and inefficient when filtering search engine image queries and social media sites, SAINT App is superior by efficiently filtering explicit content without causing over blocking or under blocking, due to its lightweight and intelligent proprietary technology. On the contrary, SAINT Apps technology allows one to navigate freely throughout the Internet and social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, only restricting inappropriate sexual content; SAINT App blocks image search results and web pages containing pornography in search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing.

SAINT App is web browser independent, meaning its functionality stays the same regardless of the web browser one uses to access the Internet. This makes SAINT App the most rigorous and efficient antipornography filter. It offers the following advantages:

This month Mobile World Congress saw a number of manufactures unveiling low cost mobile and smart phones. Experts predict it will be a big trend for 2013 as manufacturers try to tap in to the developing world and aim to provide a product that can be considered a back-up or second phone.

These new low-cost mobile phones will look to compete with the likes of Huawei and ZTE. According to Swedbank analyst Hakan Wranne The U.S. and Europe are saturated with smartphones. Upgrading or changing phones is about all that is left for those markets, and this is not representative of growth.

Protect your bubble, mobile phone insurance provider takes a look at the recently unveiled cut-price basic mobile phones and low-cost smart phones.

Smart phones fans love when next generation phones hit the market. Those who may recall Apples iPhone5 sold very well, but Windows popularity is not far behind. In fact, with more flavors available for Windows products, it is no surprise that smart phone lovers have their hands full when trying to decide on a new phone. Protect Your Bubble, mobile phone insurance company, has looked at one of the newest phones, the HTC 8X.

1. Build and design

Its only 10.12mm thick so the 8X is much more slender than the OneX at 8.9mm, but at 130g it is as heavy as the HTC primary Android device. Colours range from California Blue, Graphite Black, Flame Read and Limelight Yellow, it looks more like the Nokia Lumia 920 than the One Series of HTC.

2. Screen

A substantial 4.3-inch LCD 2 HD touchscreen with 1280 x 720p resolution, expect 720p HD video and images. Gorilla Glass keeps the screen from all but the most severe damage. Glare is not much of an issue either; optical lamination is featured for web browsing or watching video.

3. Camera

It has an industry standard 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. But all these match nicely to the f/2.0 aperture and 28mm lens for pictures of quality in low-light conditions. A dedicated chip, Image Chip, helps with snaps and focus speed and 1080 HD recording in stereo sound covers mobile movies quite well.

Video and chat is easy with a 2.1MP front-face camera with full HD video possibility. A f/2.0 aperture with ultra-wide lends and Image Chip makes the front camera one of the best on the market today.

4. Beats Audio

A partnership with HTC and Beats, built-in amplifiers and speaker delivers superior sound and the 3.5mm jack supports most headphones, only if the ones in the box are not up to personal tastes.

5. Battery and processor

Qualcomms S4 1.5GHz dual-core processor runs this phone, and it is the same processor in the 8S and the Nokia Lumia 920. A full GB of RAM is perfect for the multitasking, and the 1,800 mAh battery is enough to carry most users through a full day of usage.

The HTC Windows phone 8X is available on most networks and is priced around

Every internet connection, regardless of personal or public wifi, binds you to the “terms and conditions” of that provider. Many times, these terms of usage are vague, leaving the safety of your personal data to be determined by a policy you probably don’t have access to. One doesn’t have to be doing anything illegal either — there are many documented cases in which personal freedoms have been violated by ISP’s, website owners, and search engines. At TorGuard, we believe every law abiding citizen has the right to encrypt and protect their personal data online. Big businesses wouldn’t think of risking company secrets on an unsecured connection, so why should you? torguard.net

First there was SOPA, the Stop Online Piracy Act, but now CISPA (Cyber Intelligence Sharing Protection Act) is threatening the privacy and freedom of US citizens. No online activity will be safe when it comes to these bills because as of now what’s considered a cyber security threat is a large grey area, but David Seaman, journalist and host of The DL Show, joins us to take a closer look at CISPA. According to police statistics around 300,000 mobile phones are stolen in the UK each year. In fact this figure is almost definitely higher taking into account the number thefts that may go unreported. Protect your bubble shares some top tips that can help prevent a theft or in the event of a theft.

Password Protection

The first and most simple step towards protecting a mobile phone is to add a pin or password protected lock to the device.

Remote Locate

There are a number of apps and services available that can help locate a mobile phone when it has been lost or stolen. Find My iPhone is the service from Apple that is included free with iCloud. It uses embedded GPS technology to track the device plus it can be used on most Apple devices included iPod and Apple Macs. Wheres My Droid is the android offering which tracks and turns up the ringer volume to its maximum. Lookout available on both iPhone and Android is similar and come as an app with the added feature of sounding an alarm to find items close by.

Wiping data

Remotely wiping a mobile phone will remove all private data on the phone protecting the data from opportunist thieves. This service is included on Wheres My iPhone and the Pro version of Wheres My Droid . Gadgettrak another anti-theft app can remotely wipe personal data on smart phones plus it allows remote operation of web-cams and mobile cameras to take pictures collecting crucial evidence to help catch the thief.

Elude Theft

If out an about, keep mobile phones out of site, this will help keep the phone safe from the preying eyes of a thief. Best not to keep mobile phones in back pockets especially in crowded places and when sending a text message use both hands as a tighter grip and a less open body could be a good deterrent.

The best way to get total piece of mind is to get mobile phone insurance. Protect your bubble offers great value mobile phone insurance covering, theft, breakdown, accidental damage and as an optional extra loss.

Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) June 01, 2011

For many years, Apple customers have enjoyed an online environment that was relatively malware-free. Coupled with the desgin and halo-effect of its popular iDevices, this has resulted in the phenomenal growth and adoption of Mac OS X and iMacs by both consumers and businesses globally.

This unique selling proposition, together with the growth and potential customer security complacency, has opened the doors for nefarious criminal groups to target the Apple Mac user as an easy and largely unprotected target especially from socially-engineered attacks.

TrustDefender Labs has seen an increase in activity on the Apple Mac malware front, as reported in the TrustDefender Labs in-depth report of April 2011. During the same period, Apple was also forced to acknowledge the latest wave of high profile threats, including MacDefender, MacSecurity, MacProtector and MacGuard (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4650), further attesting to the fact that the Apple Mac user base was now compelling enough for the bad guys to target in their money-making criminal activities.

Today, TrustDefender launches the public beta phase of TrustDefender Pro for Mac (TDpro for Mac) for home users, executives, corporations and small to medium businesses, all of whom are facing a growing level of online transactional security threats. TDpro for Mac provides the same level of transactional security that people around the world have experienced with TrustDefender Pro for Windows.

TDpro for Mac is not a replacement for existing Internet Security software, but rather complements existing tools to provide a true transactional security solution that secures Mac users when they transact or bank online.

TDpro for Mac is fully integrated with the TrustDefender Central Intelligence Server and will take advantage of all existing TrustDefender-provided policies for the many financial institutions and enterprises that have deployed TrustDefenders integrated security and fraud risk management solutions around the world.

For financial institutions, government agencies or any enterprise who have already implemented the TrustDefender integrated security and fraud risk management suite, this means that with the flick of a switch, all of their Apple Mac users are now protected. It also means that enterprises get a much broader view of their global customer and end user base profile within the Central Intelligence Server, providing a more comprehensive insight in to their security risk landscape and exposure to risk.

Unfortunately malware writers never sleep and they always target the low hanging fruit. It seems that the Apple Mac platform is now big enough to attract major criminals. We have seen the same level of development on the Windows platform over the past few years and we expect more transactional trojans for Apple Macs in the near future, comments Andreas Baumhof, CTO of TrustDefender. The bad guys already have extensive configuration files to perform very sophisticated and targeted attacks against internet banking, payment gateway, eCommerce and government sites. It is a natural extension to enable these capabilities on the Apple platform as well.

We are proud to release our first major Apple Mac version, providing a practical means for Enterprises to proactively mitigate their risk exposure. This is part of our strategy of delivering cross-platform solutions to combat the ever-growing threat of cybercrime., concludes Andreas Baumhof, CTO of TrustDefender.
