Question by caesar: What brand of black and white small office laser printer is cheaper to operate, Samsung or HP?
Not sure why the Samsung printer is usually way cheaper than an HP and print quality is about the same. Does an HP B/W laser printer have higher yield toner cartridges or is it just a brand thing?

Best answer:

Answer by bitnaga
I chalk it up to brand thing. Samsung laser printer is cheaper to operate. The print resolution of 600 dpi is sufficient for printing documents, so it’s hard to tell apart the differences (if there are any) anyway. Moreso for new models that have 1200 dpi resolution.

Question by Lou.: Why is Windows 7 better for office and productivity work than iOS?
For my I.C.T. work I have to state why Windows 7 would be better at office/productivity work than iOS but I’ve only found a few answers and I’m not sure if they’re entirely right.

Best answer:

Answer by Meh
iOS is the operating system for iPod/phone/pad. Mac OSX is the iMac OS.

Neither is really any better than the other for basic office productivity. But windows supports a lot more software.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 19, 2013

KnowWare International, Inc. announces that the QI Macros Lean Six Sigma Software for Excel is fully compatible with Office 365 for Windows 7 and 8, and Macintosh OS X.

Office 365 is Microsofts software-as-a-service that works in PCs and Macs, as well as in the cloud.

Office 365 works in both Windows 7 and 8, as well as Mac OSX. Once a user subscribes to Office 365, they can download and install the latest version of Office, which includes Excel 2013 for the PC or Excel 2011 for the Mac. The QI Macros is fully compatible with either Excel 2013 or Excel 2011, when installed on a computer. The Web App version of Excel does not yet support Visual Basic, but virtually all of the QI Macros templates can be used on the Web version of Office 365.

Along with Microsoft 2013, QI Macros is also compatible with all Windows 8 tablets. Visit the following link for a video review of the software: http://www.qimacros.com/lean-six-sigma-blog/microsoft-surface-office-2013-qi-macros/.

The QI Macros consists of four parts: 1.) 46 charts and two Chart Wizards that use existing Excel data to create pareto, control charts, and histograms; 2.) more than 90 fill-in-the-blank templates for Lean Six Sigma; 3.) a Statistics Wizard; and 4.) data transformation tools, such as the PivotTable Wizard that automates data analysis.

Unlike complex statistical tools, the QI Macros tools can be used by anyone from students to Six Sigma Black Belts. Users most often say that the QI Macros is convenient and hassle free, is easy to learn, works directly on Excel data, and automates the most commonly used Lean Six Sigma improvement tools.

At only $ 199 (thousands less than competitors), QI Macros is the least expensive, most robust solution available on the market.

Download a 30-day evaluation copy of the QI Macros for Excel at: http://www.qimacros.com/trial/30-day/. Readers can also take our free Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training at: http://www.lssmb.com.
