In the cisco ios, what command configures an interface with the text

? I used to know, but forgot. Also is it entered during global configuration mode? For example, if the interface was fa0/0 how do I configure it as stated above? And what does the prompt look like? Thanks.

I made a google apps domain name thinking I would be able to make a website but instead it was an email server, my mistake. It says I registered it through go daddy. How do I sever the connection with google and make it all on go daddy?

Do you purchase your domain name with Google apps?
If yes, Then you can hopefully create a website now.
But it needs some advanced configuration such as domain name verification and changing CNAME records to fulfill the control of your domain name.
You also make a free website with Google sites, if you want, and add a custom domain later.
For starting a new “www.yourdomain.com” website you need to verify your domain name first and then you are able to lunched a website. I get some useful information about creating a site with Google from here: http://www.varyhelp.com/2012/10/how-to-build-websiteblog-with-google.html

I am trying to move a domain name from Google Apps to a German provider (einsundeins).. Also trying to get an Authorization code from Google apps. Hope someone can help me!!! Thanks!

The authorization code is issued by the current domain registrar. As Google is not a domain registrar, you wouldn’t want to contact them for an authorization code. Further, if you’re just moving your email, all you need to do is update the MX records to point to the new provider. An authorization code is only necessary if you’re transferring the domain to a different domain registrar.

Hello, everyone. Actually, I didn’t know how exactly formulate the question. But know. I’ll try to explain for what I need. So, when we post a message in facebook via mobile we see something like this: “via iphone” or “via android”. I’m interested in how to change it? For e.g. “via android” to “via galaxy s” and etc.

I have been looking through all the settings on facebook and my facebook app on my tablet to find out where i can change the name of my device that i am using to update my status and comment on other posts ect..

as of now it either says nothing or is says “updated via mobile device” but someone i know who has the same device as me says “Android Tablet” and another persons says “updated via samsung galaxy”

i even saw where people founf out how to name it so it says “updated via toaster”

where can i customize this name?
That is a dumb answer … read the full question next time and if you do not know the answer dont answer. I am using an android tablet if you would read.. and i found out how you can change it but thank you for the wrong answer

If you use facebook for mobile or the mobile site, it says updated via mobile, the other guy uses facebook for android and hence his status says updated via android. The same applies to blackberry, windows mobile, and the iphone

Is it possible to customize the operating system’s name on Windows 7?

Question by : Is it possible to customize the operating system’s name on Windows 7?
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and I would like to change the display under system information from
“Windows 7 Ultimate”
to
“Windows 95″

Some people have not understood my question completely, so I must clarify. I do not want to dual boot with 95, nor do I want to change my OS in any way. All I’m trying to accomplish is changing the display text in ‘System Properties’ from “Windows 7″ to “Windows 95″.

Changing the computer name, business name, owner name, logo, etc… is really neat; I thank you for your answer. However, this does not resolve my question.

I have tried searches on google and bing before posting here for an answer. I would like to change the text of the “Operating System”. Thanks for your answer.

It is essentially a google main page, except when you type in a search term, your search term is switched with that of someone else’s (who just typed theirs in at the same time), and you get the results from that person’s search term. I’ve tried it once, you get really random search results. Anyone recognize the site? Thanks.

Question by : Why is Google “Play” such a stupid name for an App Store?
Why is Google “Play” such a stupid name for an App Store? Is it because:

A. I really want to sound like I am a seven year old kid wanting to go outside and “Play” everytime I mention the Google App store,

…or

B. I want to sound like an annoying fake hipster that can’t even think up a good fake hip name?

I agree. Google “Play” would be okay if the market was just for music, games and movies, but considering you can buy books and apps, “play” just isn’t the appropriate word at all. “Android Market” wasn’t particularly attractive either, so I can see why they changed it. But “Play”?! It’s just pretty rediculous.

Why couldn’t they just call it “Google Market” or something more simple? They’re trying to pull a Facebook, changing things unnecessarily to make people think it’s better, but in reality, Google “Play” just sounds awkward.
