google docs spread sheet?

Question by Douglas: google docs spread sheet?
Hello I am trying to figure out how to use the google docs spread sheet. For example if I have the word
“apple” in column A and the word “pie” in column B then I would like the C column to say applepie
I have a list of words in column A that will always be added to the list of words in column B.
How do I create this equation in the spread sheet?
Thanks for the help!
good answer, however I am looking to see a column of this equation to take place. Everything in column A will always be added to column B to equal column C. This is for text only.

Best answer:

Answer by P
If “Apple” is in cell A1 and “Pie” is in cell B1, then in cell C1, type:

=A1&B1

You could also add a space between them with:

=A1&” “&B1

So, adding text is done with the ‘&’ symbol.

What do you think? Answer below!
