My question is: will the geforce gtx 460m outdo my desktop’s Ati Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5?
I know there is a difference between Ati and Nvidia and now I’m also trying to compare it to an Ati Desktop card. Hope to figure this out, as I need to sell my desktop in order to get this laptop and didn’t want to sell it if it turned out to be a major downgrade. Oh, I know the laptop outbeats my desktop in the other areas, some not by too much, but the graphics is where I am questioning.

Thanks for your help.
I am a student, so i need ultimate portability, please only answer the question I asked. I know what I want, was only wanting to know the differences between systems. That and no, it’s not cheaper to have a laptop built. I’ve compared to those that will build them, this is the best deal at $ 1300. Other’s want around at least $ 1500-$ 2500. thanks
i didn’t want to put anyone off, so please don’t be offended by my first Additional details remark.

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 03, 2012

Danny Esposito, editor for Penny Stock Detectives, believes that, when investors focus in on the precious metals space, the metal that is more closely associated with money is gold bullion. However, according to the editors recent article, silver bullion has been used as a monetary asset throughout history, just like gold bullion, making silver bullions association with money equal to golds. Esposito argues that what makes silver more attractive as an investment is the fact that demand is skyrocketing because of its industrial uses.

Silver has the highest electrical conductivity of any element known to man and the highest thermal conductivity of any metal, making its industrial uses critical, notes Esposito. More importantly, because of silver bullions unique properties, it is difficult to find substitutes for the precious metal.

Batteries use silver bullion to make them long-lasting. Electronic switches, electronic circuit boards, and televisions have a component of the precious metal in them. Silver bullion is the critical component that conducts the suns rays in solar panels into electricity, comments Esposito.

According to the editor, silver bullions ability to kill bacteria without harming the human body has made its use invaluable in many medical applications. Items from wound dressings, to gowns, to catheters, to medical equipment are all manufactured with silver bullion. All hospitals treat burn victims with silver bullion, to prevent infections.

Because of its ability to kill bacteria, silver is finding its way into clothes and even coating mattresses, to prevent the spread of disease and bacteria, says Esposito. Many water filtration systems for pools, spas, and hospitals use silver to kill bacteria.

Research and development continues to find new uses for the precious metal, the editor reports. According to his article, it is estimated that three-quarters of the silver bullion mined out of the ground each year is already earmarked for industrial uses. This leaves less and less silver bullion for investment purposes.

Esposito feels that this doesnt make silver bullion less attractive; it makes silver bullion more attractive as an investment, because the supply/demand fundamentals point to a continued scarcity of the precious metal going forward, as it is going to be used in many more industrial applications. For example, he says, all cellular phones, iPads and game consoles have a small component of silver bullion in them.

According to Esposito, throughout history, silver bullion has always been considered money, alongside gold bullion. Industrial demand is increasing because of the precious metals unique properties, while investment demand in silver coins and silver bullion is increasing as well, with people flooding into silver bullion as a protection against money printing.

This will ensure a shortage of supply, says Esposito, which means higher silver bullion prices in the years ahead.
