Washington, DC (Vocus) September 20, 2010
A distinguished panel of experts will gather on Thursday, September 23, 2010, to discuss Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and market power issues at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Accountable Care Organizations hold the potential to be a centerpiece of health care reformâreducing costs and increasing quality through more tightly integrated provider collaboration. The statute provides only the broad outline of the programâs requirements, leaving the HHS Secretary to fill in critical details on how the program will work. This panel discussion will explore how competition issues should factor into analysis and rulemaking, the guidance already provided by antitrust agencies, and the potential implications and limitations of that guidance.
Please join us for an engaging discussion from a panel of the countryâs experts on competition issues and provider networks.
