Question by : how to switch owners in windows 7 “names on computer”?
i got my computer from a friend, and in the properties on windows Vista i changed her name to mine, and made a new user account, then i upgraded to windows 7 ultimate… but her name keeps poping up, like in rainmeter and what not…..how do i change everything over to my name and remove hers without reinstalling, i have to much stuff to back up to reinstall like 300 gigs worth, any help would be appreciated

To change:
• the registered owner in windows http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/74737-registered-owner-organization.html (the steps are the same for windows 7)
