Question by vbgirl1420: Windows 7 “consider replacing your battery” notification?
I’ve had my computer for about 2.5 years. It started with Vista and I upgraded to Windows 7. The battery never had issues; in fact, over the weekend, I watched a movie that was more than 2 hours on a single charge. When I turned my computer on today, the battery icon had an X by it and said that I should consider replacing my battery.
I know the battery is fine; I just want to know why it says its bad and how to fix it. I should note that I let my battery get down to 3% after which it hibernated for the first time yesterday. It seems odd that it would cause the issue, but it was the only thing out of the ordinary.

Windows 7 has this, I have had that to, still the battery seems ok, looks as if if your battery gets below a certain charge it shows up, just monitor you battery life when using, but 2.5 yrs is about about average for life of battery.
