Question by tuan: Do I have a LAN connection?
i have 2 computers in the house and one internet connection. it says i am “currently connected to network 8″ and “access: local and internet”
does this mean i have a lan connection? i want to know because i am considering disabling “Server Service” to improve performance on my windows vista (i read that i don’t need it if i don’t have lan).

Do not bother disabling this service; the performance improvement will be unnoticeable.
