Question by Mohammed A: How can I solve the wireless problem in windows 7 “NO Connections are available” ?!!?
I have bought a laptop and the operation system is windows premium and there is a problem with the wireless connection … I can’t connect to my home wireless network … when I click on the wireless icon in the task bar … a message tell me that “NO Connections are available”
I have another laptops with windows xp .. and they are connected to the wireless network
my wireless card is turned on and enabled
when I open the network map it says to me “The adapter isn’t connected ” !!!

Maybe the wireless interface is not started up… check the switch for that (usually on the front edge of your laptop).

Is your wireless card turned on and enabled?
It might not be the connection it might be the computer why dont you call technical support because if it is the computer you dont want to mess up anything else………
ok follow this and you should get a good idea whats wrong
1. check that all chords are in
2. on the laptop that doesnt work open “command prompt and type: ping 127.0.0.1
(that tests ur NIC (network interface card) [if this fails your pc will need to be serviced]
3. check you computers IP address [in command prompt] type ipconfig and compare it to the other connected PC’s the first 3 numbers should be the same
eg
PC1 192.168.2.1
PC2 192.169.2.2
the last number should always be different
4. read the user manual for your router and find support in their
