Question by tim: pro tools LE 8 getting stuck when loading?
Hi, Could someone help me out of this problem? I bough this pro tools LE 8 and mini MBOX 2 5 days ago. I can not loading it. it’s getting stuck at structure.dpm . I tried many time , it was same error . even I had uninstalled IE 8, and reinstalled Pro Tools 8. it same error . I got this Message Warning before I double click to loading PT 8 ” Warning loss of plug-ins authorization key may occur . this system contain ones or more drives formatted with NTSF , which have volume names longer than 11 Characters .This combination is know to corrupt some InterLok plug-ins authorizations. If you know which dives are authorized and they are not configured this way, or if you have no InterLok protected plug-ins, then you may continue.In order to remedy this issue before corruption can occur click “yes” to quick Pro Tolls and rename NTFS volumes to names that are 11 characters or less.Next, re-launch Pro Tools and this dialog should not appear”
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS IT? AND HOW TO SOLVE IT?
I using MICROSOFT Window XP , MEDIA CENTER EDITION , VERSION 2002 , SERVICE PACK 2 . COMPAQ PRESARIO. AMD 64 PROCESSOR. 3500+ .2.20GHZ,1.93 GB OF RAM .

Im fairly certain that Pro Tools is telling you that you must rename your hard drive in order to launch because its conflicting with your iLok authorization codes. You could try downloading the new updates on the Digidesign website to see if that fixes the problem, otherwise I would post this question on the Digidesign User Conference Forum.
