Question by : How to get back sound on “Windows 7″?
A year and a half ago we went from Windows XP to Windows 7. after that we had no sound, i have tried every video i got to see about getting sound on windows 7. on my hard drive theres a sticker thingy that says ” designed for_____ microsoft windows XP” its a Lenovo thinkcenter Hard Drive. when i open up device manager and look on sound, controllers tab. and it says ” High Definition Audio Device” and i go to properties Its totally fine up to date in fact. I also have a sound card in my hard drive. i run on 32-bit Windows 7 Professional. when i look at the sound panel ( bottom right of the screen) its says ” No Audio Output Device is installed.” I honestly don’t know what to do. i gave up in december looking for sound. and now im starting back up! any suggestions?

Try looking for audio drivers, after you upgrade from one OS to a better OS, the audio drivers are out of date. That’s what I had to do for my computer when I upgraded from XP to 7. I run 32-bit also.
