I keep getting a pop up : “Set Up Windows Internet Explorer 8″, and I really don’t want to do it so I keep pressing ” ask me later” I have heard it is not all it is cracked up to be, how do I get rid of this pop up I don’t want to download it by mistake.

Go to control panel, use default programs, make your browser you use, the default. Then IE will not bother you. @
You already have IE8 if your getting that pop-up. It got installed if you had Windows set to automatically update. You can set it up and be done with it, make another browser your default (but you still might get that pop-up sometimes until you go through with it, some programs launch IE regardless of your default settings) or uninstall (not delete) IE8. Change you Windows update settings to check for updates but let you decide which updates to install.
