Question by Megaman: Format a disk to use as a swap disk in Linux Mint 8 “Helena” (Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala)?
I have a 2GB file system drive I would like to use as a swap partition. (It is a drive, I would like to use the whole thing) I am an windows XP user that is used to GUI solutions…Is there an easy way of doing this? I know that my 2GB partition is WAY faster! Thanks!

In ubuntu if you look through your main menu (probably under Settings) for a program called Gparted or partition manager. It is a gui program to create, or delete partitions and format them and set them up to be used for swap etc.
Good luck
