@khulet0017 okay go on google and search ibooty ipod touch 4g and what that does you plug ur idevice in and then you follow the instructions you need itunes latest update and that means that your jailbreak is tethered so everytime u have 2 reboot or it does u must reboot with that program iBooty.

when i dowload the firmware there r 8 folders not one like you have what is happening , and the redsn0w when i right click to chose the compatibiliti it shows me win95 , win nt , and win 98 , and i am on the win home.

If you want your iPhone 4 jailbroken u must use sn0wbreeze. Learned that personally. For some reason iPhone 4 cannot be jailbroken with redsn0w. Youwelcome!!!!

every time i start the proccess. right away redsnow 0.9.6 crashes when i hit the next button! what do I do is there any other software i can get?

After i’ve done DFU mode and start downloading and the hardisk logo pop up on the device, suddenly the redsnow crashes, saying that ‘a problem that cause redsnow stopworking’.. I try it like alot of times and still the same result.
