Question by Angela: Windows XP message – You must activate windows within 3 days or windows will stop????
I added a 1 gb memory stick to my pc. When I turned back on the computer everything worked fine but I am getting a message that I must reactive windows within 3 days or it will stop working. How do I reactive windows? Why do I get all the information to do it? I bought the computer with it already installed on the computer from the store. I don’t know where to get the info for this! How can I fix it?
This pc is not hooked to the internet and won’t be used for the internet. I use it for programs that display slide shows and movies onto a projection screen on the wall……..

If you have the internet. Then you should click on the reactive thing then follow what it says. It is just a legal thing that Microsoft has. It will ask for your details put them. The information will only go to Microsoft. Legally the shop you brought the computer from should have either done this for you or not have windows on it at all.
