Android predicted to eclipse Nokia
ABI Research recently reported that smartphone shipments increased by 71 percent in 2010, soaring to 302 million from just 177 million in 2009. Its latest report also showed Nokia ‘s handset market share shrinking from 39 percent to 33 percent and the share of Android -based phone vendors expanding from 4 percent to 24 percent.
